WRGW BRINGS JIM BOHNANON TO CAMPUS!
September 30st, 2005:
Under the direction of Dick Golden, Vice President Michael Freedman and General Manager Steve Roche, WRGW brought nationally syndicated talk show host Jim Bohannon to the WRGW Studios for a live broadcast of his show to over 300 stations coast-to-coast..
Focusing on GW's response the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, GW's Communications and Journalism programs, including CNN's On the Story and the state of college radio, WRGW brought a unique program to not only gwradio.com but to America as over 300 stations carried the show from 10 pm until 1 am. Joined by an in studio crowd of WRGW staff, University administrators and interested students, the event was a hit. "It gave a chance for students to not only learn about the production and work put into a show like this, but a chance for students to participate hands-on." General Manager Steve Roche said.
