WRGW MOVES FORWARD WITH PLANS ONCE AGAIN!
October 17th, 1961:
20 students met in the studios of WRGW in the fall of 1961 on the top of Lisner to decide what to do with WRGW. With only two hours of programming being sent into Madison Hall, the WRGW team looked to change ways and expand on campus.
The hope of the staff was to move from more of a workshop into a fully operation station, staffed by students and run for students. Attempted three previous times, the project had so far been a failure due to lack of funds, staffing, technical difficulties and studio space. With administrative recognition in 1959, WRGW had existed as small scale workshop. With the present staff in place, WRGW looked to expand in the fall of 1961.
