RADIO CLUB PLANS "HUMOR NIGHT" March 25th, 1931: The plans for "Humor Night" are underway by members of the George Washington University Radio Club for the club birthday party to be h All of the club's spare time is being devoted to the building of a trick receiver, which is guaranteed to spark laughter. The club transmitter will also be demonstrated although won't be put on-air until chief operator Howard Cole renews the license. The station, W3ACY was previously booked to Albert Small the club's secretary. Chairman of the Radio Club, Samuel Hall and the honorary president is H.C. McNeil. In fact, the Radio Club has now reached more honorary members than actual members. Regardless, Humor Night will be a fantastic event. There is even rumor of wholesale prices on ice cream!!
