WGW SEEKS APPROVAL FROM ADMINISTRATION!!

March 3rd, 1959: Acting President Colclough (1959-1961) and Radio Station head Stuart Gelber met this week to get student radio, WWGW on the air.  Gelber's confident that after seeking administrative approval, it will take four weeks to get the station up-and-running.

After meeting with Colclough, Gelber quoted the Acting President as saying, "If there were to be a radio station on campus again, the administrattion would want the students to operate and manage it with a minimum of faculty and administrative supervision.

To quash any existing rumors, Gelber insists it will take an engineer fifteen minutes to rewire the existing studio.  (Stay tuned in May, I think this might work out... )
