On Sept. 14, Swedish performer Tove Lo’s Dirt Femme tour will hit D.C. with a show that, in her own words, will be a party. With album Dirt Femme, the artist explored how her femininity has shaped her life. On stage, she creates a new world through visual and sonic mediums that she invites concertgoers to experience with her. Dirt Femme is Tove Lo’s first independent release, making this album a storytelling of purely her own making.
Tove Lo has been awarded for her numerous hits over the years, being Grammy-nominated as well as winning five Grammy awards in Sweden. “Habits (Stay High),” “Talking Body” and “Cool Girl” are but a few of the captivating synth-pop hits that the artist has released throughout her career that will also be featured on the setlist for this tour.
The Dirt Femme tour will be at The Anthem with support from Slayyyter. To quote Tove Lo, “It’s going to be magic, so, you know, MANDATORY PRESENCE.”
