CONCERT PREVIEW: Cherry Glazerr @ Union Stage, 3/12

By Kayla Grande

Indie rock sensation Cherry Glazerr is set to visit the Wharf’s Union Stage on March 12 as part of their Touch of Chaos tour, which follows the release of their fourth studio album, I Don’t Want You Anymore.

Since their formation in 2013, lead singer and guitarist Clementine Creevy has brilliantly transitioned the band’s sound from witty teenage rebellion anthems on their debut album Haxel Princess to a more mature sound in following projects. Her latest three albums capture themes of femininity, individualism, filled with raw emotion. These themes are paired with experimentation in newer sounds while maintaining a gritty ambiguous genre and catchy electric guitar. This show promises a fusion of garage punk and synth sounds, with an extensive setlist that will please indie and rock fans alike.

Before the show, be sure to catch Cherry Glazerr at Byrdland Records at 12 p.m. for a record signing and solo performance!
