KAYTRANADA is coming to Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland on October 6th as a part of his Timeless tour, celebrating the release of his third full-length album of the same name. The Haitian-Canadian producer, singer, rapper, and DJ began making music in 2010 and has gained fame with hit songs like 10%, Be Your Girl, Drip Sweat, and Snap My Fingers. His work is influenced by a combination of funk, hip-hop, house, RNB, and kompa, a genre of dance music from Haiti. Despite being inspired by legendary producers J-Dilla and Madlib, Kaytranada’s sound is unique and distinguishable – you know a Kaytranada beat when you hear it, and you can’t help but dance.
