Vince Staples @ The Anthem 10/24

Fresh off the release of his latest album, California rapper Vince Staples will be headed to the Anthem this October as part of his Black in America tour. A North Beach native, Vince started making waves in the alternative hip-hop scene in the early 2010s with his rise aided by fellow rappers Mac Miller and Tyler The Creator who fronted the rap collective Odd Future. Over the course of the last decade, Vince has experimented sonically on each new project, seamlessly shifting between conscious hip-hop, electronica, gangster rap, and beyond. Vince’s newest album, Dark Times was released in May of 2024, and marks the end of his contract with Def Jam Records. The project tackles a variety of topics ranging from overcoming depression, to systematic racism. Washington D.C. native Baby Rose will be opening for Vince when he heads to the Anthem next month.
