The singer-songwriter Brooke Alexx is heading to DC9 on November 5th with lots of energy from her debut album release titled, Big Mouth and a nationwide tour. The New Jersey born pop artist has been highlighted recently by big names like Forbes and the Grammy Awards, who praise her new album for creating “certified bops.” Before her album, Alexx released electric singles that debuted her writing and signing capabilities such as, “All my Exes’ Moms” and “Move to LA (I Don’t Wanna).” Her debut headline tour began in Minneapolis and then headed West before coming to the DMV in the first week of November.

Jesse Welles 11/14

Jesse Welles, the breakout folk artist, is headlining DC9 Nightclub on 11/14 during his Hells Welles Tour. First coming onto the scene with his band Dead Indian in 2012, Welles has moved away from rock-inspired sound to John Prine or Bob Dylan-style folk music. His signature gravelly sound and thought-provoking lyrics garnered millions of views on TikTok and Instagram after releasing hit songs such as War Isn’t Murder and The Olympics. On July 4th, 2024, Hells Welles, his first solo record, was released and tackled many issues our world faces, such as capitalism, corporate power, genocide, and more.

Zinadelphia 11/22

Philadelphia based artist Zinadelphia is coming to Washington DC’s DC9 on November 22nd for The Magazina Tour, her first headlining tour, as part of her promotion of her new EP The Magazine. After releasing her first single “Mirrorball” in 2022, she has increasingly gained popularity with the help of social media, using it to promote her top songs like “Love Over Glory” and “Cosmos”. Her music blends sounds of neo soul mixed with jazz and 70s-esque funk, pulling inspiration from artists like Etta James, Aretha Franklin, and Donny Hathaway. This tour is sure to showcase new songs from the EP such as “Snap Out Of It” and “Knock The Wind”, bringing an upbeat jazz sound sure to bring fans together. 

Doors to the sold out show open at 7pm.
