On October 19, Swedish cloud-rap pioneer Yung Lean brings his Sad Boys universe to The Anthem in Washington, DC. A viral breakout in 2013 with “Ginseng Strip 2002,” Lean helped define internet-born cloud rap and has since grown into a cult touring artist with atmospheric beats, woozy synths, and melancholic, deadpan vocals. Expect a set that blends early favorites and newer work, likely including “Ginseng Strip 2002,” “Kyoto,” “Yoshi City,” and “Agony,” alongside material from his 2025 album Jonatan, like “Forever Yung.”
