Fleshwater will be coming to the 9:30 Club for their In Search Of The Endless Sky release tour on October 26. The night will be opened by Chat Pile, a noise rock/sludge metal band from Oklahoma, and Balmora, a metalcore band from Connecticut. Fleshwater formed in Boston in 2017 as a spinoff of metalcore band Vein.fm. Fleshwater blends Vein’s metalcore elements with melodic riffs and shoegaze-y atmosphere. By dipping into a wide variety of genres, including nu gaze, post-hardcore, metal, and grunge, they’ve created a space in the alternative scene that is uniquely their own. Fleshwater has been captivating audiences since their 2021 debut album release We’re Not Here To Be Loved, with their new release 2000: In Search Of The Endless Sky expanding their signature sound into something fresh, yet nostalgic. The album evokes introspection and creates an esoteric story that was not present in their previous works, and takes heavy influence from 2000s futurism culture and alternative sound. Whether you’re a new fan post-Deftones tour, or a day-1 Vein.fm fan, Fleshwater puts on a moving, emotional, and cathartic show that you’ll never forget.
