Duster, a slow-core indie-rock band, is currently heading their long-awaited album, In Dreams– released after a two-decade-long hiatus. Their first album, released in 1998, is named Stratosphere after the layer that separates Earth and Space, a fitting description for their music’s ethereal guitar and dreamy vocals, accompanied by a warm and grounded rhythm section. The band records their traditional guitar, bass, and drum instruments with cassette decks, producing a timeless sound. Duster is the perfect band to listen to on a long, rainy day of reminiscing, or you can listen to them this Sunday live at the 9:30 Club on September 29.
