The Paris-based duo Kids Return will be headlining at Songbyrd on Sunday, Feb. 12. The two best friends, Adrien Rozé and Clément Savoye, met in Paris at just 13-years-old. Kids Return explores the nuances of memory and childhood, both the joy and the sadness of it, through their music to create their “nostalgia pop” sound. The pair compose, produce and write together in their small Parisian studio and in a house in the mountains of the Pyrenees, which inspired songs like “Orange Mountains.” The duo returns to a more traditional method of recording and producing in their latest album, including the orchestration of a string quartet. Be sure to check out their impressive melodic voices and instrumentals at Songbyrd next week.
