To kick off her first international tour, Olivia Dean is coming to D.C.’s Songbyrd on Nov. 1. Fusing soul, R&B, jazz and pop, Olivia uses her timeless voice to deliver poetic and candid lyrics that reflect on past relationships and self-growth.
Born and raised in London, Dean grew up singing in a gospel choir, performing on-stage since she was 11-years-old. Her music incorporates stunning string and horn arrangements, funky and soulful rhythms and heavenly vocal harmonies.
You can expect to hear songs from her debut album Messy, along with past singles like “Slowly” and “Echo.” Prepare to cry, dance, and be mesmerized by Olivia’s deep yet gentle voice live.
