Seattle-based rhythm and blues band The Dip will be headlining a show at the 9:30 Club on Tuesday, Feb. 28. A year after the release of their newest album Sticking With It, which features 11 tracks of soulful pop sound that shines through its spontaneity, the band is returning to D.C. following a sold out show last March at Black Cat. Horn-heavy hits like “Real Contender” display the seven-piece’s soulful side, while dreamier tracks like the album opener “Paddle to the Stars” feature lead singer Tom Eddy’s strong vocals and the band’s united musical sound.
The group is known for their syncretism and is commended for their outstanding live sound which has garnered a strong following–you don’t want to miss their performance! The Stuck on You national tour kicked off a few days ago in Kansas City, MO, with support from Kaleta & Super Yamba Band.
