British New Wave fans rejoice–The Psychedelic Furs, along with the Jesus and Mary Chain, are bringing their talents to the Anthem on Sunday, October 6th. The indelible sound of the Psychedelic Furs scored much of the movies and atmosphere of the 80s, and the Jesus and Mary Chain were integral in the development of the shoegaze music genre. The Psychedelic Furs are sure to play some of their original hits (among them the earworm Pretty in Pink,) alongside music from their most recent release, Made of Rain, while the Jesus and Mary Chain has much to celebrate with their new album Glasgow Eyes. The Psychedelic Furs and the Jesus and Mary Chain will be joined by opener Frankie Rose.
