Do you like free food? Live music? Supporting a Fossil-Free GW?! If you answered yes to any of the above, you are cordially invited to Sunrise GW’s second annual ‘Fossil Free Festival’ this Sunday in U-Yard. From 12-5 pm, students and faculty can enjoy performances by local and GW bands, nosh on some free HipCityVeg and play some fun games!
The event will play host to both GW and local organizations that work to make our campus and our community a better place to live in. If you want a chance to talk with and learn from your progressive peers, Fossil Free Fest is the place for you. Need more convincing? You can catch performances by Corduroy Conjunction, Cause of Death, Home Remedies, and Endlings between 3-5 thanks to the support from the SMC. If that tickles your fancy well then grab your dancing shoes and get your fossil-fuel-hating butts to U-Yard THIS Sunday to help celebrate Earth Day and put an end to the fossil fuel industry’s influence on our campus.
