PREVIEW: The Army, The Navy @ The Atlantis, 3/24

By: Alex Sourdis

The Army, The Navy will be at The Atlantis on March 24th to perform their sophomore EP, Sugar for Bugs. The pair’s indie-folkish songs are characterized by seamless harmonies and whimsically embellished lyricism, featured on songs like Bookend. Maia Ciambriello and Sasha Goldberg were brought together by their mutual childhood vocal coach, who accurately predicted their compatibility before they went on to become the powerful duo we know today. While they’ve opened for artists like Matt Maltese, Paris Paloma, and Dora Jar, this will be the group’s first headline tour. Be sure to check out The Army, The Navy’s gig at the Atlantis, where they are “happy, lucky, nervy, and giddy” to perform in your city.
