Tamino, the Belgian- Egyptian singer and musician is embarking on a World Tour for his newest album Every Dawn is a Mountain. He will be performing at the historical Lincoln Theater April 17th. At 17 years old Tamino-Amir Moharam Fouad trained at the Amsterdam Royal Conservatory, and has performed in countless festivals all over Europe including Rock en Seine in Paris. In 2024, he toured alongside Mitski during her The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We tour, and she is featured on the song “Sanctuary” on his new album. Tamino incorporates Arabic imagery in his music, including his first single Habibi, as well as Babylon from his soon-to-be-released album, which he considers to be the cornerstone of the album. The singer’s soulful melodies combined with his timeless voice create a sense of yearning for home, of loss and of impermanence. He describes this newest album as being “strung together by a same sense of honoring and letting go.”
