Week 11 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire

By: Nan Jiang

We have some good prime time games coming up next week. Here are some players to hold your fantasy team down if your stars have byes.

Quarterback

Joshua Dobbs (MIN, 38%)

Man, Josh Dobbs is putting the league on notice this year. After arriving in Minnesota two weeks ago, Dobbs seems as if he has been playing there his whole life. Dobbs has had huge games, leading the Vikings to back to back wins. With the best wideout in the game returning next week, Dobbs should have many more weapons to throw to against Denver.

Carson Wentz (LAR, 0.7%)

Call me stupid, but I trust in Wentz wherever he goes. In DC last year, he had some really good games before just a few bad ones lost him his job. He’s better than a lot of other QBs out there, and dare I say Matt Stafford might be one of the QBs he’s better than. Stafford has been the most turnover-happy QB on his good days, but nowadays, it seems like he’s just turnover-happy and not actually good. Wentz is not only a good pickup, but is exciting for Kupp and Nacua going into next week if he plays.

Running Back

Devin Singletary (TEX, 55%)
Is the Dameon Pierce experiment finally over? Last week, Singletary rushed for a career high 150 yards and a score in the Texans win. He seems to be getting hot at just the right time as the Texans make a playoff push, and against the Cardinals defense next week, he should be able to eat again.

Wide Receiver

Brandin Cooks (DAL, 49.1%)

If you’re looking for receivers this week, it will be like digging in the trash. Cooks, however, is a nice boom or bust streamer for next week. He doubled his total yards on the season in just one game last week on nine receptions for over 170 yards and a score. Was that a fluke or will Cooks finally get some looks on a pretty loaded Cowboys team? We’ll find out next week, and if it’s the latter, his owners will be rewarded.

Tight End

Pat Freiermuth (PIT, 36.5%)

MUTH is finally off the IR for next week, and now is your chance to grab him from the folks who didn’t want to stash him for a couple weeks. When healthy, he is still very well a top 10, maybe top 5 TE fantasy wise, and though playing against the Browns isn’t the ideal return, he still has much higher upside than many other TEs.
